Startup Partnering units are invited to take part in the Study based on partnerships collected by the GlassDollar data-engine. They answer to a thorough survey and follow-up interview. Relevant information is cross-checked with startups which have worked with the unit.
The evaluation is based on five main criteria and was designed by industry evangelist Peter Borchers. It aims to move the industry's lend away from vanity metrics to measurable impact.
Is the unit's strategy aligned with the organisation's? Do top decision makers support the unit?
How many resources (incl. team) are available and dedicated to Venture Clienting?
What are the unit's core workflows and processes? How effectively does the unit run?
What is the experience provided to startup partners, incl. legal framework and payment terms?
How much has the unit penetrated the organization?
How many implementations have been lead? How is their impact tracked?
